Options dialog, Bracketing tab

The Bracketing tab specifies number of pictures to take and which parameter to alter. Specifying one picture means no bracketing, this is a default value.

All bracketing pictures are put into the current series. Use normal buttons and or arrow keys to see pictures with different settings. To save the whole series, right-click within the camera window and select "Save All Pictures in Series..." in the popup menu.

NOTE: Automatic bracketing only works when taking single pictures with one camera at a time.

To use automatic bracketing, select number of bracketing pictures to take. Then optionally select the parameter to alter.

The parameter being changed depends on the mode the camera is in: When the camera is in the Manual mode, you may select whether to change Exposure Time or Aperture. In all other modes Exposure Bias is changed. The mode of the camera is selected in the Capture Properties dialog.

For every next picture selected parameter is incremented by one stop.

If, while taking bracketing pictures, the parameter goes of its range, either taking pictures stops (if the camera does not accept the out-of-range parameter and returns an error), or pictures may be taken with wrong parameter value (if the camera accepts the parameter without error, but cannot set it, like usually happens with Exposure Time).

Number of pictures to take:   Enter number of pictures to take. If 1 is entered, no bracketing occurs.

Change Exposure Time   Select to increment Exposure Time by one stop for every next picture. This is only used when the camera is in Manual mode.

Change &Aperture   Select to increment Aperture by one stop for every next picture. This is only used when the camera is in Manual mode.
